The raptors find shelter among inaccessible and high rocky sides where they nest. Lately, it is possible to see also some gray herons.
In the waters, besides cyprinids, barbells, chubs, rovellas, bleaks and vairone, fishing population includes also eels, trouts and some stream lampreys. There are also salamanders and natrixes.
As regards excursions, the area offers a lot of easy but also more difficult itineraries, climbing along the steepest sides using ledges and narrow passages on vertical sides and with wonderful views.
Nowadays, a series of paths extend on both sides among the thick hydrophilous vegetation and cross numerous sources whose waters gush from rocks, offering the possibility to enjoy their freshness.
